Montana Mountaineering members help support our nonprofit’s mission to create an inclusive and knowledgable mountain community here in Montana. Membership dues directly fund our outdoor programs that provide education, mentorship, and stewardship for people of all ages and abilities. Your participation helps support our mission and can pay for itself through access to discounts and benefits at local businesses.

Membership Benefits

MMA members receive a variety of discounts and benefits, including the following:

• 10% off all MMA guided climb or ski bookings

• 20% off MMA apparel purchased on the MMA website

• 10% off in-store ski purchases at Bangtail Bike and Ski, including shop work. Does not apply to bike products or labor. Cannot be combined with other discounts.

• 20% off monthly memberships or punch cards at The Mountain Project (includes in-person and online classes)

• 10% off Gastro Gnome backpacking meals purchased direct from Gastro Gnome.

• 10% off punch passes at Spire Climbing + Fitness and retail discounts at the Spire retail shop (10% off for non-Spire members; 15% off for Spire members)

• 10% off Nordic Ski Day Passes, Snowshoe Passes, Fatbike Passes, and Night Ski Passes for the members AND anyone in their party at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center

• $1 off full beer pours and $1 off coffee drinks over $5 at Aprés Brewing

• Access to in-person and virtual educational programs

How It Works

When you sign up for an annual yearly membership ($60), you will make an account on the MMA website for the password protected members page. The member page includes a link to your annual membership card and explains how to redeem your discount at the participating businesses. Be sure to save the MMA member confirmation email for your records. See each participating business for instructions on how to access the specific benefit offered.
