Rebecca Taylor

Originally from Maine, Rebecca has lived happily in Bozeman since 2002 with her husband and two children. Rebecca joins the Montana Mountaineering Association board with small business and outdoor education teaching experience.
Rebecca spent her college years in New Zealand, teaching outdoor education and spending as much time as possible rock climbing and mountaineering. She has had the opportunity to climb in Thailand, Peru, and Bolivia, as well as the amazing state of Montana. She has also taught Outdoor Education to youth at the Chewonki Outdoor Education Center in Maine.
Rebecca is a pediatric Occupational Therapist who helped to found MMA with her husband, Erin Taylor. She ran an MMA climbing program for children with disabilities for 10 years and then worked closely with Eagle Mount to continue a similar program with them.
Rebecca started a pediatric Occupational Therapy business in Bozeman in 2003 and continues to love helping children with differing abilities to be as independent as possible in their daily activities which often include recreating in the surrounding Bozeman area.
She has found much happiness and a strong sense of achievement when setting physical goals for herself in the mountains. Her career related passion to instill independence in others is something she feels is of utmost importance in MMA’s work with the Junior Mountaineering Team. She is proud to be a part of such a unique and community based endeavor.

When Kevin is not working as a Nurse, he splits his time between chasing his wife around the trails of Bozeman on foot, bike, or ski and being lost in textbooks as he embarks on a Doctoral degree to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Kevin has traveled much of the Rocky Mountain West climbing rock, ice and mountains and steals moments whenever he can to enjoy and improve his climbing prowess. Miguel Strunk
Board Member
Miguel moved to Bozeman in 2012 from Albuquerque, New Mexico to pursue a degree in Biological Engineering. He was drawn to Bozeman for a world class education in close proximity to mountain playgrounds offering a wide variety of adventures. Already an avid outdoor enthusiast, Miguel quickly fell in love with Bozeman, and Montana at large, because of the wonderful mountain communities that exist.
Since graduating, he has worked in various roles in the medical device industry in Bozeman. In each of his roles, he has worked to identify problems, investigate their root causes and implement efficient solutions to help the organization succeed. He is currently devoted to the pursuit of operational excellence to drive continuous improvement so that companies can better serve their employees and customers.
Outside of work, Miguel pursues his passions in the outdoors. In the winter you can find him either ice climbing, skate skiing, or - more recently - learning to downhill/ backcountry ski, and in the other seasons getting to know the local mountain ranges running on and off trails. Having had powerful, formative experiences in the mountains himself, he believes that everyone should have the opportunity to get out there and explore their potential, regardless of their background and/or circumstance, in an inclusive, supportive, knowledgeable mountain community.
