Jack Taylor

Guide & Instructor

Email Jack

Jack grew up in Minnesota, but spent lots of time exploring the Yellowstone region throughout his youth. His passion for mountain sports flourished during his time as a student at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He now lives in Bozeman because of the amazing access to climbing and skiing, and he loves teaching mountain skills to aspiring outdoor athletes.

Prior to working as a mountain guide, Jack worked as a ski patroller, ski technician, field geologist, and outdoor photojournalist. His breadth of experience allows him to adapt to meet the needs of the climbers and skiers who he’s working with on any given day.

Jack loves travelling to faraway places such as Chamonix and Patagonia to climb on big granite faces and ski steep couloirs, yet coming home to play in the mountains around Bozeman is always a treat for him.
